Rap War

 

Rapping or rhyming, spitting, emceeing, is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular which is performed or chanted in a variety of ways, usually over a backbeat or musical accompaniment. The components of rap include "content" (what is being said), "flow" (rhythm, rhyme), and "delivery" (cadence, tone). Rap differs from spoken-word poetry in that rap is usually performed in time to an instrumental track. Rap is often associated with, and is a primary ingredient of hip-hop music, but the origins of the phenomenon predate hip-hop culture

• Two entries per college.

• Participant should restrict their performance up to 5 mins (empty stage to empty stage). Negative marks will be awarded for exceeding time limit. 

• Your Freestyle must be 100% original material and shall not infringe upon any third party copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights nor shall it contain any vulgar words and sexually explicit lyrics.

• The participant is required to send his/her video for PRELIMS on this Email id : dhwanimusicsoc@gmail.com , the teams will be shortlisted for finals and results will be declared on our Facebook Page : facebook.com/chetna2018

• Subject of the email should be:- "<College Name><Event Name><Team Leader Name>Chetna'18". 

• The participant must be ready well in time as per instructions of the organizer. No Props or costume or any material will be provided by the host college. 

• Slotting will be done on the basis of Chit Pull system.

• Decision of the judges will be final.
